The
main difference between a Medium and a Psychic is that a Psychic
can draw information from your aura, which can provide knowledge about
both current and future events, whereas a Medium is the conduit between
the physical world and the spirit world. A
Medium works on a different level than a psychic and usually offers a
different type of information. Every
Medium is psychic but not every Psychic is a medium. A Medium is passive,
more like a telephone than an active participant whereas a Psychic plays
an active part in getting the information. Everyone
is psychic to greater or lesser extent and these abilities can be
developed with practise. A medium has developed their psychic
sensitivities to the point where they can sense presences, receive and
accurately interpret messages, and relay information, healing and
assistance from Spirit. A
Medium is a person who has
the ability of receiving information by contacting someone who has passed
to the spirit world. The information a Medium relays may describe
personality traits and physical characteristics of the person in spirit
that is communicating through the Medium to the sitter. The information
may include memories of the life they shared together on earth, details of
how they passed into spirit or references to the spirits' knowledge of the
sitter’s earth life now. Unlike a Psychic, the information
that comes through to the Medium is not picked up through the person who
is still living. Mediumship
is more than just delivering messages, it’s about the confirmation that
our ‘spirit’ lives on, once we leave our physical bodies and that we
are still connected to those who have passed on before us. A Medium simply
repeats the conversation that he is having with the spirit world back to
the sitter. So unlike a Psychic, nothing that a Medium gives is based on
their personal feelings, impressions, or intuition, because a Medium is
totally removed from the reading. A Medium is an instrument for the spirit
world or a voice on earth for spirit. A
Psychic is a person who reads the
energies either around a person or a place and they often use tools to
help establish a link. They are sensitive to the auric fields of
people and latent energies and impressions left on inanimate objects and
places. They are able to pick up
on detailed parts of a person’s life and will
normally give information relating to our personal life such as our job,
our personal relationships, family
and friends, or our
home. A Psychic may use psychometry such as holding something like
car keys, or watch or a ring and give a reading based on the vibrations or
impressions that they pick up from them. They might also use tarot cards
and give a Tarot reading based on the images and impressions that they see
in the cards. A Psychic does not
possess the ability to see or communicate with Spirit. A Medium must never
use tools of any description when linking with Spirit, as this would

Cleaning
People everyday step into the shower or have a bath. But so many forget that its more than the body that needs to be clean, you should also clean your aura. Everyday as we walk about we pick up negative energy, by that i mean emotions and feeling of other people, ever gone out of the house in a happy mood , only to hang around with a group of people and feel like your getting more and more depressed. Or you can end up feeling worn out and tired.

SUBTLE BODIES: SEVEN LAYERS OF THE AURA. |
| The human energy field (HEF) is the manifestation of universal energy around the human body. It can be described as a luminous body around the physical body. It is often referred to as an aura, and consists of layers. referred to as subtle bodies. which resonate at a higher vibrations, than the psychical body. The seven layers are defined by colour, location, density, form and function To understand just how this works you need to understand that principles of energy, the energies of different frequencies can occupy the same space in a non destructive way. Because of the differing inherent frequencies , psychical and etheric matter can co exist in the same space, just as radio and tv waves can pass through the same space without interference. To explain this further we live in a 3 dimensional world, yet this is over lapped by both the two dimensional worlds and the 4th dimension worlds. Colours are two dimensional and perfume and scent is four dimensional you can smell it but you can't see it. KETHERIC BODY: Vibrates at a high level and extends beyond the physical.This body contains all the other bodies within it and extends up to three and a half feet from the body, often in the shape of an egg. Its structure is made of a gold, or silvery-gold, and appears as a grid type structure, which is very durable. It pulsates and vibrates at a very high speed and within this level, we "know" we are one with God. This body also contains the main Kundalini force that runs up and down the body associated with the divine or universal consciousness and contains the life plan or soul contract and reflects all experiences and events the soul has ever experienced. The ketheric body is the purest form and link with god, within each of us. CELESTIAL BODY: Emotional level of the spiritual plane.The celestial body is about two to two and three quarter feet from the body, and appears as a light shimmering opalescent light, there is no body shape, and the light radiates from the body like the glow around a candle. The aura is made up of different bands of energy, the celestial body is at the outer edge of the aura, with the ketheric being the only energy band beyond it, and is one of the least dense aspects of the aura.. The celestial body is where ecstasy is experienced, and that of unconditional love, the heart chakra is connected through all the layers to it, here a person with only love and compassion in there hearts would have a strong emanation, it is here that the lessons in life dwell for us, for there is only one, yet for so many of us it is the hardest thing to reach, for others when we reach it, then it seems to slip away, yet through history there are a few people that reach the goal that lies in the celestial body, and that is to love everyone and everything unconditionally. The celestial body is very important for if you can reach it, then it holds the true meaning of life, and the pure love that each of us endlessly spends our lives searching for. ETHERIC TEMPLATE BODY: Contains the etheric blue print for the physical body.It looks rather like the negative of a photograph. It is the template form for the etheric layer which as was already stated is the template form for the physical body. It extends from about one and one half to two feet. when trauma is caused to the etheric body, the etheric template body, provides the support for its healing. This template can only be interpreted with your heart and inner perceptions, not your mind. It carries a pattern for maximum productivity in this lifetime, the lessons to be learned, the karma of past life actions and the reason why your here in this life, the agreements you made before you were born. ASTRAL BODY: No fixed shape, it is composed of clouds similar to that of the emotional layer. It has no shape and extends about 6 to 12 inches from the physical body . This is also called the desire body as this level reflects our true desires, we might also think of the astral body as an antennae. When we meet someone for the first time, or we find ourselves in a strange place, the astral body will pick up the sensations and transmit them to us. When two people are attracted to each other the astral bodies blend and merge, by extending towards each other. Conversely anger and strong feelings of dislike, create barriers between two astral bodies, there is no merging or interaction, the two energy fields remain closed. The astral body of most people is frequently in a state of imbalance as they allow there emotions to rule them, one day they may be happy, the next day they will be depressed. The astral body mirrors all changes in mood and responds to the vibrations of other people, it is also a bridge between the three lower auric layers, and the three upper spiritual layers. It is rose pink colour tends to dominate but the colour depends on the emotions of the person concerned, and is considered to be the seal of human emotions. MENTAL BODY: Associated with thoughts and the mental processes.The mental body is the world of thoughts. It is where our ideas and imagination transition from the nothingness of the casual body and enter into the constructs of the conscious mind. It appears as a bright yellow light /aura around the head and the shoulders, and extends three to eight inches from the body . When we think this light becomes very bright and shines , when colours also appear in the mental body this can be when we are putting emotions to our thoughts. EMOTIONAL BODY: This is associated with feelings , and feelings are created and stored in the emotional body. negative emotional issues are stored in the emotional body accompanied by strong emotional thoughts. This stored emotional feelings cause us to over react to similar situations and cause us more stress. The emotional body is made up of clouds of fine substance in continual motion. It extends 3 inches but also penetrates the psychical body. Colours vary from bright clear colours to dark subdued colours.The etheric and the physical bodies are very closely interwoven and disintegrate together at death. Every physical particle has it etheric counterpart, which is a perfect replica of the physical form. This is why it is known as the etheric double, and why people who have had a limb amputated can still feel the pain and sensations from it , because it is still present in the etheric form. The etheric body consists of a luminous web of fine bright lines of force known as nadis. The most important function of the etheric body is the transference of life energy from the universal field via the ethric body , to the physical body. This life force is known as prana. ETHERIC BODY: Can be viewed as a state between energy and matter. It has the same structure as the body including all anatomical parts and organs. This vital energy field forms the blue print for the physical matter of the body tissues.The etheric forces are gathered and concentrated in man and form what is called the Etheric Body or double, which surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body and is an exact copy or duplicate of it, organ for organ and cell for cell.The distance of this extension of the etheric body is about an inch and a half, and it is visible to clairvoyants as a luminous outline of a pale golden colour. Colour varies from light blue to grey. It also pulsates at 15-20 cycles per minute.

PSYCHOMETRY
A BRIEF OUTLINE. |
| Hold an object in your hand and sensing it, is what psychometry is all about, it is the ability to experience the object in a feeling sense. It is possible to psychometrize almost anything from a piece of material, a piece of paper, to a crystal or rock. Some results can be extremely detailed and minutely accurate. Anyone can develop the ability for it by simply allowing the intuitive mind, the feeling side of you, to sense what you have in your hand, closing the eyes certainly helps and you will, after a little practice have a feeling or sensation that could amaze you. Like many skills you will need patience as well as a degree of sensitivity to be able to read such objects. When you first hold a ring for example, feel it with the left hand then with both hands, does it feel cold or hot? Is there an impression of an emotional state? You should remember that you are not using part of your mind that is used in everyday life, and you have to be relaxed and detached in your outlook. The more detached you are the clearer the images will become , and the easier it will become to focus on the ring. The temptation is to think about things, but if you do this, you will lose your intuitive sense and come to an abrupt stop. You may pick up all kinds of feelings perceptions and pictures, it could seem quiet a muddle when you first begin, but persevere and you will soon find the knack of holding an object and beginning in the correct state of mind. Psychometry can be a quiet useful skill, every time you shake hands with someone you will also pick up a lot of information about that person. The only thing you have to be careful with is when you are reading an object, you can pick up vibrations that belonged to the previous owner.

| Many of us are already using our psychic ability, without even knowing that we are doing it, and many more are aware of the information that they are receiving through there inner senses, but do not talk about it, often through fear of being laughed at or misunderstood. Psychic potential is not something that some people have and others not, you may be more awake to your abilities, or more naturally developed in some areas than other people, however each of your friends, family and in fact every other person alive on the earth have there own unique range of psychic abilities too, some which they may be aware of others that may be dormant just waiting to be discovered or it may be yourself that is just starting to wake up your psychic ability. How do you recognise these abilities and what questions should you ask yourself. Firstly have you ever experienced Deja Vu the feeling of having been somewhere or said something, maybe even experienced an event before it has happened, this can be either a reincarnation memory or a lifetime memory. The senses trigger off a persons psychic abilities and you recall being in a certain place but in a different time frame, this being either an event from the past i.e you are visiting a house, you know where every room is, you look out of the window and even the garden is familiar, every part of your being tells you this used to be your home, and yet in this lifetimes this is the first time that you have ever visited this house, or you may be sitting with friends having a conversation, when suddenly you realise that you have been in this situation before, you even know what's going to be said before it is. All to often we dismiss this as simply something that happens. Prognetic dreams, happen to almost everyone, dreaming is an altered state of consciousness and many people receive realistic or symbolic dreams connected with future events, usually such dreams happen very close in time and proximity to the actual event, and its up to each individual whether they act upon them, but usually after you have experienced this type of dream you can not push it to the back of your mind and ignore it, strong feelings of impending doom and feelings of desperately needing to do something to stop the event from happening, haunts the person until the event actually happens. Intuition is an inner sense, which always comes instantly and spontaneously without reasoning or logical thought. How many times have you ever had a hunch or a strange feeling that you ought to do something without anyone telling you. There are so many incidences in our everyday lives that we deal with intuitively. Sometimes you will be aware of what a person is going to do even before they do it, or anticipate a person entering or leaving a room before they do so. This is intuitive faculty at work. If you make a decision using your intuition You very seldom go wrong. How many times have you met a perfect stranger and instantly known all about them, or thought of a person only to find that the telephone rings and the person that has been in your thoughts is the very same person on the other end of the phone . At other times your intuition can warn you, the bond is very strong between mother and child, you may be doing something that you really enjoy, and suddenly you know that your child is in danger, this feeling becomes so strong that it can't be ignored, everyone tells you that its your imagination, but you instinctively know that something has happened. At other times you may enter a room full of people, they make you feel welcome, but yet you feel uncomfortable and eventually leave. | A mantic tool can be many things, it is a tool that can be used to guide your intuition and help you channel your thoughts. Many people who are involved in psychic counselling use a mantic tool of some kind. CRYSTAL BALL: This is a ball of glass or more rarely crystal and is used as a focus for a medium or psychic to see the future or past events of a person or place ect. The crystal ball is also known as the watch ball. TAROT CARDS: Tarot cards have there roots in the antiquity of occultism, and always has been used as a mantic tool by those with psychic ability . RUNES: Runes are usually small objects of stone, wood or ceramics with hieroglyphics engraved on them . The runic letters themselves carry the power and energies, these are invoked during the working. PYROMANCY: This is a form of divination by fire, people that practice pyromancy interpret the way the fire burns and the movement of the flames. PENDULUM: Many people feel the pendulum is a telephone link with the subconscious mind. PALMISTRY: Palmistry again has been around for a very long time, and is one of the ancient arts, it involves the study of hands and the lines on it. I.CHING: Came from china was used in ancient times to predict the future and to guide people in there everyday lives. These are just a few of the mantic tools that are used today, they all have been used for many centuries and are treated with respect and understanding, by those that use them. MOTIVES FOR DEVELOPING YOUR PSYCHIC ABILITY:

| Many people wish to develop there psychic ability to see spirits, to hear them speak to them, to obtain counsel, to heal the sick , to help the bereaved, to give advice and to assist those in need. But if your desire is sometimes simply that of satisfying the personal ego, to be different from other people, the wish to be looked up to, and to put on the mantle of mysticism. This is entirely the wrong approach to psychic development of any kind. The true motive for anyone who is developing there psychic potential is of a spiritual nature and to use these gifts as a means to help others. All people are born with latent psychic capabilities , but as with a great opera singer, a musician, or a painter, special training and dedication is necessary to bring out your full potential. In today's society there are a great number of people in need of guidance, compassion, help and understanding, anyone who is involved in any branch of psychic work, has to prove that no matter who people are, or where they come from, that all people involved in this kind of work are working with god, and have the responsibility to do the best with there ability. Twenty years ago i was asked what were my motives and reasons, i replied: My reason for developing my psychic ability, is not only to improve my self as a person , but also to awaken any latent powers i have that i do not know of, in order to assist others who are in need of help, and to do this with love and compassion, to never judge a person, and to always answer a call for help. My motives, well i hope one day to be able to use what i have learned to help other people, to be able to help them overcome there problems and find a little happiness, also i hope to learn from this psychic awakening, to expand my spiritual knowledge, to learn from every experience as life is a school of learning and every challenge and experience that you have, holds opportunities for you to improve your understanding of spiritual matters, and so become a better person yourself , as none of us are without fault. MY OPINION ON THE CAUSE OF LEVITATION:

| Levitation is the most profound of the Siddhis, its all a matter of mind body co-ordination, tell your body to walk and it does, but tell it to rise in the air and it doesn't, improve your mind body co-ordination and you can do that too. Gravitation is really the key to levitation if the force of gravity could be somehow neutralized or reversed , so that it pushes us away from the ground instead of holding us to it , or else opposed by an equal and opposite force, then we would have levitation. Among primitive people, who's minds are encumbered by the often unfortunate effects of modern rationalism, levitation is generally accepted. The Indians in Oregon often practised levitation, in ancient Briton it was universally known that the druids could fly, and there is evidence that the ancient secrets of levitation have not been lost. Tibetan mystics still use levitation. The Anahat chakra is one of the psychic centres, or centres of psychic manifestation, in the human system. Anahat chakra is connected with levitation in several texts, the three chakras that are involved in levitation are the Muladhara, the Anahat, and the Ajna. The Muladhara is located in the area at the base of the spine, the Anahat is located in the chest, in the vicinity of the heart, and the Ajha is located between the eyebrows. They are centres at which certain energies in the human body are collected and concentrated, properly aroused that can produce extraordinary results. One technique for properly arousing them is chanting, these chants are called Mantras. The word AMU chanted aloud stimulates the Ajna chakra, the chakra located between the eyebrows or as the Hindus call it "the third eye" . The repeating of mantras causes a medative state, one of the physiological changes you will feel is an extreme body lightness, or even weightlessness, this is the first stage of levitation. A crossed leg position is assumed when doing levitation and breathing techniques are used to allow the person to achieve deep relaxation, you should then use mantras, trembling is a sign that the kundalini is being awakened. This is a force that originates at the base of the spine, at this point you should always make contact with a person who is experienced in these matters, a yoga instructor ect. as with everything it is sensible to take instructions from someone who has more knowledge than yourself. Then you arrive at the third stage "the jumping like a frog stage" or "frog power" it is said to come from contemplation on the Muladhara chakra, frog jumping or hopping is the first stage of outward success in levitation. When your body is balanced, a stage very few people achieve, you will be able to hover. So the causes of levitation are concentration, relaxation, meditation and breathing, all combined to alter the consciousness of a person and to put them in touch with a cosmic consciousness "Enlightenment" the more enlightened a person is the higher they can levitate its all about mind and body being in perfect balance. A few people are able to achieve complete levitation enableing them to transcend every limitation imposed by time, space, matter and the senses, to gain command over all things including ourselves is part of our human inheritance that has been lost, but perhaps the people who seek to demonstrate the primacy of mind control, are merely partaking of a universal need and discovering a gift that future generations will accept as being a normal part of there lives.
